Got my demo unit in UPS today. Now I need to find somewhere to go!

Must say I am impressed with the GPS so far as it has the road detail for our unpaved road including the triangle corner detail!

How do you enter the destination address? Never used a GPS or Nav unit before, but this looks interesting.

So what's it going to cost me? How much overtime am I going to have to put in?

Shopman426,
Mike.

I haven't played much with it so far. Entering destination shouldn't be a big deal though. MSRP is $1199 with actual sell price being south of $1100.

He JK is the mapping software loaded in the A2? (I assume) I have a hand held Lowrance I-finder hunt with mapcreate 6.3 and was wondering if you can load waypoints and such into the edge? If it is compatible?

I don't know a lot about the GPS, but it uses Tom tom and the maps appear to be loaded already as I've done nothing and can see maps.

The map is kinda funky almost like 3d. It turns and twists real time whereas my Garmin GPS-V moves along much more slowly

Let us know when you get them in stock. The PDF looks great, I'm gonna have to have one of these and a few other choice goodies, just can't stand it any longer.

Thanks for the info, JK.

Which engine/PCM series will this be available for?

Is this a "standard" Attitude, plus additional features, or an addition to existing modules?

WOW! That looks like an awesome product. What will they think of next? Keep us posted John.

It does everything the Attitude does and more. At present it is like an Attitude/Nav system with full audio. The GPS maps have their errors as do all, but it's better than my Garmin. It even has our "Triangle" shown in the link below. There is another tiny section of the old road bed in the lower RH corner of the triangle. This is even on the map! It was taken out about 2 years ago, but it's impressive to see the detail. It even shows the "hooks" as the road bends to meet the hwy. We are talking unpaved town roads here! Also, if you look closely above the "n" you will see a little line leading to a dot. This is a residence, but the GPS shows it like it is a road. HIGHLY detailed...

Tough call at this point. Shouldn't be long now.

Other neat features that I may or may not have mentioned:

Individual low boost fueling settings per power level held in memory.

EGT limit adjustable to 2,ooo

Does it have a turbo timer? That would be really  .

Kennedy

No that it doesn't. This would take some hard wiring to do. I use my remote start for turbo timer.

OK, they ship Thursday. That is the official word. That and $1199 is the official price. I have a limited qty coming and based on pre orders, Edge is over a month behind...

For that price does it come with the backup camera?

Or is that extra?

Is southern canada included in the GPS maps?

And finally, please PM me if you have any available to sell.

Kennedy

No the camera is not ready, nor included in the price. Map sets are available for Canada I am sure. Tom-tom navigation does the mapping.

If you are interested contact me thru the email link on my web site.

Hey Kennedy, I wanted to find out what the dimensions of the A2 are or if you have one, could you please take a picture of the A2 sitting on your dash to give me an idea of how big it is. Thanks.
