Been more and more pluged fuel filters around. I don't even go to 10k with my OEM units...

Man, you guys must have some problem with dirty fuel up in that area, I have never had a fuel filter problem in 50,000 miles, anywhere between Texas and Utah and points in between. I don't fuel up at small convienence stores. I agree its probably fuel delivery, if it was TCM the engine would go ahead and rev up to the rev limiter, since it will only go to 2500, I can't imagine how you could have that much of an air restriction so it must be fuel restriction.

I agree with STP! Stay away from the small volume stores. They don't move the fuel like the big high volumme stores. I go the recommended 15K on filter changes.
