I searched but didn't find any NEW info. Any site have 04 info yet or should I buy an 03? I'm looking for facts not speculation about changes. Thanks for the help. I lurk more than post but I enjoy the education I've recieved here.

I cant show you in writing but I do know that for 04 the injectors will be outside the engine and redesigned to accomodate the change. They will also use a variable (displacement?) turbo that will be electrified for controls. I dont know of any other factual changes now but hope to find out more in May when I attend a Duramax class.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. My dealer wants me to wait until we can order an 04. With those changes I may wait. But don't want to wait if there were no changes being made.

Those are mid-year 2004 changes. I don't remember if the LLY goes into production in January or hits the showrooms in January, but either way you won't see those changes on any of the early 2004 trucks.
