I have seen some large HP increase claims attributed to methanol/water injection, as well as lower EGTs. Anyone have any thoughts on this, especially ease of operation, possible detrimental impact on turbo, engine, etc. Look at http://www.snowperformance.net/.

The Cummins dragster shown has no intercooler!?! Is this practical for the street? Thanks to everyone for all the info on this site! :D

Won't hurt the turbo if injected post turbo.
Won't hurt the engine if not over injected.
Is it practical for the street? This depends on how much you are injecting. Or how big of a tank do you want to run.

This is all over the 6.5 forum. In fact there is an article (http://www.thedieselpage.com/reviews/waterinjection.htm) about it in the members area. This thread (http://forum.thedieselpage.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=007734) is one of several on the subject in the 6.5 area. If you are a member, you can access it and read all about it.
