Is there a certain fuse under the hood to pull out when parked in a hotel or someplace where it might not be too secure. I would like a short, simple answer, as not to tell somebody such as a person likely to borrow someone's truck, what to look for if it doesn't crank or start. Thanks. If this post is telling to much info., then let me know. Thanks again.

Pull the starter relay located inside the electrical relay/fuse panel under the hood.

Won't crank with it pulled...

Thanks for the info. Is it ok and safe to do this without anything happening to the truck?. Thanks again for the reply.

As long as you don't lose the relay, you'll be fine. smile.gif

Removing the starter fuse would also be a option, but people can move fuses around pretty easily. There are fewer relays on that panel.
