I asked my dealer what it would cost to do a diagnostics flow test on my fuel injectors and provide me with writen documentation, first they said 1 hr labor.
Now they say that the engine plumbing has to be taken appart, they cant just put the diagnostics tool on and take electrical readings and its going to cost big bucks.

Question: how many mechanics labor hours does it take to do an on the truck injector flow test???

Are you talking return fuel flow?

I believe they are spec'ing 4 hrs to do full diagnostics on injector returns, BUT this doesn't have anything to do directly with the actual delivery of the injector/s.

Thanks it probably is the return flow I'm asking about, although i'v had this truck for 2 years there still an lot of expretions to be learnt and understood.
