I noticed a oil drop on the garage floor and lo and behold it was coming from my truck!! It is dripping off the inter-cooler pipe at the bottom. I can't tell were it's coming from. My guess would be the Turbo.I have 13000 km on the truck. I have a service appointment next week.

With the introduction of the LLY, the crankcase vent system now routes crankcase gases back into the air intake system to be burned in the combustion process. The LB7's crankcase was vented to atmosphere.

An oily film is considered normal inside the LLY's turbo compressor housing, the intercooler and intercooler pipes/ducts. Because this system is under pressure, even a tiny leak will produce an oily residue to form at the various joints.

I'd tighten the various intercooler clamps as a first step.

The leak was from an Oil line suppling the Turbo. Needed to be tightend. All is well.
