I have purchased a van aaken smart box used from someone, and it doesn't include the interior control switch. Does anyone know what would be involved in adding one?Also do these need to be reflashed or anything?Thanks,Sunk99

As I recall, without the switch attached, it reverts to the high power setting. There are different resistors assigned to different switch settings (voltage dropping network) that determine power setting. I don't remember what those values were, but you might poke around on the VanAaken (http://www.vanaaken.com/usa/index.htm) web site.

Yes, these power modules can be reflashed - by your dealer or by the parent company.
