i of course would never haul anything using this setting , but what about around town using this , will it kill my tranny , and what about the de-fueling on shifts , what should i set it on ?

To be safe I'd keep the defuels on...

give the tranny some time on lower levels to adjust then progressively increase to the 125 and stay there unless towing
