Just replaced my fram filter for the second time and it bunched up in to three groups of pleats both have done this. I see the factory paper has a couple lines running down it to keep the pleats in the proper place.

I think most of us who have been doing our
homework on the "best" products for our
trucks..... will give a thumbs up for the
Amsoil air filter. They are more effective than
the K&N filter and fairly easy to clean and
reservice

Just my humble opinion smile.gif

I bought a Fram air filter for my wifes Blazer. It looked like it had half the pleats as the A/C Delco one it replaced. Never again. I do here the Dmax fuel filter they sell is a rebadge of the OEM filter though.

I keep hearing this - is it true that there is only ONE fuel filter, and they are all rebadged? (Racor?)

I believe so. I think it's a one-off custom unit that only Racor makes.
