This is some what fun to read all about you hotrodders escapadedes with racing the duramax. I would like to find the part of the forum that relates to the truck for the guy that just wants to drive a darn nice truck and keep it running well for 400,000 miles or so. And not have to spend his inheratance on the extras.

Earnie: Factory ordered: rubber floor mat, no power anything, no leather anything, manual 4wd shifter, beadliner, headacke rack, AC for me and Auto for the Boss (wife) & stock except K&N air filter. Dirt on outside is optional.

I hear ya. I may do something with the exhaust and airbox on my truck, but that is going to be it as far as performance mods. I am not playing around with the ECM electronics on a 40K truck :rolleyes:
