Happy to report after a tank of fuel in town and a 200 mile round trip pulling a bass boat at 70 to 75 mph I've had virtually no air build up at all.
Stock plumbing except for the Mega Mod.
Should I be worried since I'm the only one without a gas problem running this thing? tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Maybe it's an x-cab shorty thing tongue.gif I'm not seeing air build up either......more testing. Air build up or not the D-max is happy with all the CLEAN fuel its getting.

That's a thought, different models have different tanks.

I have the 34 gallon tank. Anyone got air with a different size tank?

NWDmax Writes in part: I've had virtually no air build up at all

That sounds like Clintonese..................

You have air or no air in the bleeder

Larry,

My truck is a short bed with the smaller tank and I'm also getting some air.

56Nomad: I didn't detect any air build up in the bleeder or the top of either fuel filter.
Clear enough?
For the record: I have no respect for "the kneepad president" so the "clintonese" comment hit home! Good one! :D :D tongue.gif tongue.gif

I haven't had time to investigate, but after all of my fiddling around I now have a drip at my fuel cooler and spots on the floor after shut down. Looks like I may have "flushed out" a source of air entry...

I'm down to 1/4 tank so I think I'll lower my tank and pull out the double push lock hose between the tank and steel line above the cooler and replace with regular hose and clamps...

I am seeing air now. About 1.5 seconds worth, in about 60 miles. Funny that when the tank was full to about 5/8 full I didn't get air. HMMMMMM

Buck,
I saw the same thing, but with my clear line testing. Going to fill up and see if all the air goes away. I have the 26 gal SB. If the air is coming from the pickup and return unit, then the best thing would be to bleed the mega filter when you fill up. If you don't have a mega, then I guess it just passes through and goes back to the tank. I don't like that as a solution either, but have seen my system will take a BUNCH of air and not even stumble.
