Shop The Diesel Page Advertisers (http://www.thedieselpage.com/vendors/main.htm) .

I doubt you'll find a better price anywhere else, and no way will you find better service.

The cheapest I've seen is in the $24 to $25 range, and that's for a bulk buy of 3 or 6 filters. Single filters seem to be selling for right around $30 at the online vendors.

I saw some Luber-Finer filters which is Champion (I think) on E-Bay for $20. Type "Duramax fuel filter".

Watch carefully what you purchase sight-unseen.

There are a bunch of over-stocked old style filters out there, that were sold before for about half the price of the new ones. Someone may think about turning a quick double profit and deplete his old stock.

My uncle has a small independent parts store, and he only gets "deplete current stock" orders from the suppliers. There was no "hard recall" on these filters, just an improvement upgrade.

$28 each and free shipping if buying 4 or more at a time.

Yes. The updated filter has now replaced the old style. The new filter is a dual media, like two filters in one. John Kennedy (http://www.kennedydiesel.com/detail.cfm?ID=182) has some pic's on his website that show the difference.

Has the part # changed on the new filter and if so what is the new #? Again, thanks in advance.
