Fuel Filter Change??

Will be changing my fuel filter for the first time. It's a new (to me) 04 LLY. Any tips or advice greatly appreciated!! New to this diesel business, and still a bit gun shy!

IMHO, quickest, easiest, and cleanest way to change the thing is to pull off right front wheel, pull the fender liner and spin it off.

I have tried it from the top with the strap wrench multiple times and I can do it in about half the time from the wheel well with half of the aggravation. I do it during the oil change when I have the front on jackstands anyway.

Makes dealing with that lousy filter o-ring much easier, too.
