They made rwhp of 458! Did not show the torque curve.

Corndog,

Stacie bet ???? the BullyDog DMax would beat the top hp for that show at 425HP DynoJet.. 5 Bucks was the bet...

They run the truck stock> 194 hp... Low for a stock truck very low, all though it was runing 35"+ tires....

So then Stacie installed a BullyDog Propane System, BullyDog NOS System, BullyDog 4" exhaust, and last but not least a 220 HP Bully Dog Box, Looks like a Hybrid Edge/Van Aken box with a two position switch 110/220hp..

They run the truck again this time with just the Propane/220 Box>> 423HP>>> Great, Juts not above the 425hp.... They double the bet....

They run it again this time with all the goodies listed above>>> 455HP and 480LbFt more than stock... They did not list the actual Torque numbers...

The truck has trans mods, I don't know who's.. Guess ATS Diesel or SunCoast???

Steveo about summed it up.

I was amazed, unlike the blonde model, that NOS can be put on a diesel.

Then that hybrid box with 220HP !!!! obviously at the crank, but none the less, impressive!!!

All on a 2002 Silverado...guess they couldn't get a 2003...or as Stacie mentioned, with the CAT 'you'll have to put that back on' ;)

I've got an '03 with no cat. I thought only the CA trucks had the cat!?!

I also noticed when they did the final run they were showing the rear tires and I thought I saw a little smoke coming off of them. I wonder if there was a little more there that wasn't realized?

The HP gains were great. But geez what was with that 194 stock RWHP number? Even if it did have oversize tires that's a drop of 106 HP from the flywheel. 70 for the transmission and 36 more for the tires? Geesh.
I'm glad they put all that stuff on and really made some numbers though. New 4" exhaust, new propane system, new NOS system, new box, new gauges. Kinda reminds me of the old saying "Speed cost money son, how fast do you want to go?"

A really good BullyDog commercial I thought.

I thought the girl had on a nice outfit and could read the que cards well. :D I saw we get JK on the show so they can see what can be done on just #2. What about that really bad "How it works" segment? 3 questions with the same answer everytime. Guess he got stuck on the same card. Well, at least they finally did a Duramax.

Here is a pic of the actual truck>>>

JohnK, Now that I think about it, they were using the Dynojet from "HORESPOWERTV" the other guy (that bet Stacie) is the sidekick or cohost..... I think those shows are filmed in California or Knoxville, Tennesee.

I taped the episode today so I had a chance to replay it a few times..

On the first Dyno run, Stacie made 194hp and 392Ftlbs or Torque..

2nd Run was 423hp No Torque mentioned..
3rd Run was 455hp, and he stated all the mods produced 480Ftlbs more..

If that's the case he came out with 872Ftlbs...

Let's see, Injectors, Turbo, Manifolds, and Downpipe are all completly stock, is it resonable to say they have not found the Upper limit????

I would say not close.....

But there numbers are real conservative or Bully Dog isn't show boating there top shelf equipment.....

You have to assume the have the whole package from ATS ..... Why not the 210 race box 150 hp NOS back it up with the 100 HP propane kit....??? I would assume they could have achieved 500+.....Isn't that what we all desire???? tongue.gif

Lets get it smok'in them tires on the rollers....

If they did then what's up with the numbers????

Nice to see a Chevrolet Duramax being moded on the big screen tho.....

Best line was on the show before HP something or the other......They were getting set to work on a Pony car when (clearly it is set up as a Ford Verses GM) when the host explains and shows his previous Stang after it was stolen, all the damage and such, when his CO host says, Why Would Anyone Want to Steal A Ford Anyway !!!!!

OH YA !!!!!!

MAC :D :D :D

Seen the latest F**d commercial? It's a hoot. Shows a F**d towing a C-46 into the air.
These guys are really going for the dumb award.

I was reading in a 4 wheel magazine, that when they gave banks a lifted ford with mud terrian tires that, the rollers don't like those tires. They switched to street tires, and they also put weight in the bed to hold the tires on the dyno better. Just think if that had stock tires, what the numbers would look like.

i had to tape it to watch it later [had to work] if you paused the tape just when they were looking at the computer screen, you could see that the torque was 025 on the screen. there has to be a 1 in front of that number so they were looking at 1000+ pounds of torque.
