Hello-I think I have read most of the more recent threads on fuel filters and think they are a good for prolonged fuel system life. Just would like input on which is the best. Have looked at the KD mega and down loaded the inst. Has anyone seen anything better? I like to reseach stuff before I buy. Thanks for your replies!

Go with Kennedy -- great with customer support. Plus I am not for sure, but I think the other ones can only do Pre-OEM. With his you can choose pre or post.

Have a look in our Product Reviews (http://www.thedieselpage.com/reviews.htm) page concerning the MEGA.

In addition to the above, you may also want to have a look at the Lube Specialist (http://www.lubespecialist.com) web site for a packaged Racor kit for the Duramax.

We also produced an article quite some time ago concerning a DIY auxiliary fuel filter (http://www.thedieselpage.com/members/features/ritchiehays.htm) installation.
