Does anyone know the factory speed governer setting?

Related to the post on the fuel injection control unit - I just got my truck out of the dealer and could swear the governer has been lowered to 95mph.

Just wondering if anyone knew the stock setting, and if it's not 95, then why would they have lowered it?

I thought it was 96 or 97. Did you run up there before and see what your max was? I can say the computer and the display don't always match and the computer is in control. When my display says 71 the computer says 70.

That could be right - I could swear I got to 100, but I really wasn't paying attention. Moreover, it could have been downhill too.

The current limit seems to be around 95, so 97, 98 is probably where it's at.

It's limited to the speed rating of the tires. R rated tires are 97 mph so the limiter is 97.
