Twice now my my duramax won't start

First time drove it to work everything
fine came time to go home no fire plenty of voltage
checked batteries 12.6 volts.
Took about 15 min of trying to start would turn on
and wait for glow-plug light to go off then crank.
When it finally started ran really rough . next morn
ran like nothing had happend. Yesterday morn same
thing this time put pedel down about half way
and it started . No engine service light came on
taking to dealer end of week . fuel pump problem?
anyone else have same problem?

I would guess that you are having a priming problem with the LP side of you r fuel system. This would most likely be from a loose fitting, or open drain valve, or some way that allows air to enter into the LP fuel system. But that's just a guess and where I would start looking.

Ha, ha, I hate to say it, but I agree with Amianthus on this one. The fuel is sucked all the way from the tank by the gear driven pump on the engine. Look for an air leak around the filter. Bleed screw on top of filter housing, water drain on bottom of filter, or the o-ring that seals the filter to the housing. Any air in the system will cause a condition like what you are seeing.

Or better yet, take it back to the dealer and let them fix it.
