Good morning. I have been looking at this site since i bought my tuck a couple of month's ago and i must say that there is a lot of valuable information here. I have a question about putting holes in my airbox to breathe more air.I have seen a lot of posts on here about it. does it void the warranty?

If you look at the airbox of your 2002 the whole front of it is open. I'm not sure there is a lot to be gained by putting holes in it. The 2001 box was different. Better install a higher flow airfliter like the Amsoil.

i would sagest also to get a high flow air filter.

i have a K&N high flow air filter on and it is very good. i have always had very good luck with K&N and i feel as well as my father (who is a mechanic) feels they are one of the best.

but either way feel free to do what you want. and i don't think the holes would do much good. infact they do more harm than good.

when you put holes in the air box then it will breath in the hot engine air and that is not to good. so your best bet is to put a high flow air filter in there.
