Hi everyone. Haven't been online for many month's. Last time I was on I was in process of obtaining a newer diesel truck. Unfort. that didn't take place.
That was back in mid June. Am now in Mo an am now having difficulty with this old truck again. An where else can I go for good info but here. A month ago, I was having difficulty with my truck. The truck would either stall out or would be very jerky in motion. No codes were coming up. So rather than replace expensive parts we started with the fuel filter. No problems after for about a week, then same old problem. Back in shop but again no codes found. Took truck back after dealer said they could find nothing wrong. Two weeks later after no problems, it started happening again. This time they kept it longer an said there had been a bulletin from GM about cativation(?) when almost empty. Dealer added fuel an no more problem.
Its been handeling real well, have been driving more without any problems. Tonight, that all changed again, naturally -- Sat. night, dark an not in a good area of town--. First it died, started an died again. Went 50 feet an died an wouldn't start again for about 5 min. Then started right up an was able to drive a couple of miles to home. Again, no Engine light on, thus no codes. (BTW, 3/4 full tank )
Any help would be appreciative.
