Is there any way that a dealer can tell if you have have been "juiced" or had any of the electronic power adders connected?

Thanks.

They might be able to tell by setting a code and taking it in. They can't prove it though.

There is a reason I am curious about their ability to tell if one has been installed. A couple of years ago there was a story about a rental car customer that got a hefty bill after he had returned the rental car. It seems the rental car company could tell that he had been driving extremely fast and his rental contract prohibited speeding. It seems that the computers onboard vehicles these days store lots of information.

The computer can store freeze frame records when a problem occurs. This would/could store vehicle speed at time of incident...

Mr. Kennedy, will it show that a power adder has been installed and used in the information that is retrieved?

Thanks.
