I have been lurking on this site for about 8 months now and finally decided it was time to sigh up, I have learned a great deal from you folks and just want to say thanks.
I do have a question also,
I just rotated the tires on my 3500 and my question is why are the lug nuts flat and wheel holes not countersunk for centering of the wheel?

I believe the reason is that the wheels are aligned by the center hub as opposed to the lugs. I don't know if this is benefitial in some way or not.

Btw, welcome to the forum!

I would believe the advantage would be strength with hub centering ..... With GM upping the GVCW that prolly felt the necessity ....

Makes it difficult for aftemarket wheels tho ..... As I found out ....
