Oh this wonderful Silverado smile.gif
I have another problem whenever the steering wheel is turned more than 90degrees I can feel a light clicking in the wheel. It's there in slow turns or even stopped. The deeler first told me there was a problem than after trying to fix it for 2 days backpeddled and told me its a normal characteristic.
Anyone else feeling this.

Thanks

Don't know if it's the same but mine has 2 things in the wheel that go bump. One of them is the 20 pound air bag. It shifts on the mounts at about a half turn of the wheel and makes a clunk. The other is the fact that the column itself has side play. If you grab the wheel and move it side to side you can feel it. In my opinion the whole steering system from the wheel to the tie rods is made out of tinker toys.
