I am running the hypertech power programmer in my 02 durmax and love it. Are there any other tuners I can run with the hypertech? Thanks

Don't stack with the stock transmission.

Not sure how the Hyypertech works on the LB7, but level 1 on the LLY is about 5HP less than stock.

If you want to stack, you need a module, not a tuner as the second tuner will just write over the first...

What upgrade would the transmission need if I was going to stack?

Don't stack unless money is of no object to you because you'll need plently of it to fix your ****!!!! for real though if your gonna stack only run it that way for what ever your purpose is, ie sled dragging, racing, dyno'n but DO NOT run it this way for any other purpose. I stacked two trucks for people and will never do it again(for any one else that is)! When one blew his ATS tranny and the other blew a piston and round housed his engine they were up my ass to fix it after I told both the consequences. I'd just drug a truck before I'd stack it.

I wouldn't do it w/ less then a Sun Coast/Pro Lock combination or an ATS. I perfer the Pro lock tranny over the ATS because the last truck I put an ATS in took a couple to get a good one.

So edge 2/predator 2 will ruin a transmission?

I'm not real famialiar w/ the Predator but if it's a pressure program and the Edge is a timing box it most certainly will. How long it takes just depends on how hard you bash it. Running 2 pressure boxes or 2 timing boxes together, usually one just kind of overides the other and you don't get nearly the power as running one of each.

Sorry for that -- I meant edge set on level 2, and predator set on 65hp.

Thanks

Thanks Edge can monitor slip and back down, but it cannot take away what the Predator adds, plus the moderate Edge tunes are set up to stay within the limits of the stock transmission.

I have only limited stacking experience, using a hot Edge/Att & Predator. It can increase power some, but I know adding 2 + 2 won't get you 4.

A single module or program + nitrous is the way to go, in my opinion. :D

Yeah -- I realized that 65hp + 60hp does not = 125. However, I can tell a nice difference when stacked versus not stacked.
