I tried to put Duramax/Allison package in 2002 4x4 Tahoe but Allison requires lifting the body about 2" I'd rather leave existing transmission (4L60-E) is it possible to mate existing TCM to Duramax?

Sure. If you don't mind having a pretzel for a tranny. The 4L60E's are adequate for a 350 gasser. If the Allison is absolutley out of the question, a performance built 4L85E would be your only option, at near-stock Duramax output.

If you are dead set against the 2" lift, you could enlarge the tranny tunnel to accomodate the Allison. I've heard of a few doing this.

Your best solution would be to either add a body lift or modify the trans tunnel. The 4L60-E would be woefully inadequate behind the Duramax. The 4L80-E bellhousing would bolt right up to the Duramax (as would the 4L60-E), and the torque converter bolt pattern is the same (isn't for the 4L60-E).

If you decide to install a 4L80-E, you'll need to solve the trans computer issue, and you'll need to run a detuned program to keep the 4L80-E alive. PCS (http://www.thedieselpage.com/reviews/pcstrans.htm) sells aftermarket trans computers that'll work for the 4L60/4L80.
