Oh group of knowledge.....Installed AFE stage II intake system today. When finished end up with plastic "resonator" (the part that has Duramax 6.6l stamped on it).
Looked at a buddies '01 tonight and his is completely different, no "resonater", just intake tube from air box to aluminum port of the turbo.
Anyone know why the difference??
Also want to get the same (2001) plastic "cover" with Duramx 6.6l on it now for mine to finish off the install.
Anyone know where can get one without buying from dealer? Anyone want to trade a 2002 intake system for a 2001 complete?
