Boost controllers MAX power output

This is all new ( turbo stuff ) I see manual boost controls and electronic ones. I hear the manual ones are better. I am just one of those people that has to know everything they can about something they just bought. And with all the upgrades I would like to do, I keep finding more and more. Which brings me to another question. What is the safe max power out put a 6.5 td and 4l80e can handle before it spits.

I'm making 223 hp and 430 lb-ft running 18 psi boost on stock compression. No problems yet.

I like the electronic boost controls better.
