RPMoutlet.com is advertising these for D-Max as if they're available now. No info on what their "program" does, but in addition it lets you change shift points. Looking at dyno results, seems you could get faster acceleration just doing some of that (like a tow/haul 2). For example, top of power-band, especially chipped, seems to be roughly 2000-2800 rpms before it starts to drop off, but stock Allison shifts well below 2800 - more like 2200-2400 in tow/haul, that drops D-Max back to 1800 or so for the next gear and so on.

My guess is that raising shift points may improve acceleration, but will be annoyingly loud - the truck seems like it's more comfortable shifting at the stock points. Don't how EGTs are likely to go (e.g. more heat at 2800 rpms in 3rd or 2000 in 4th WOT) - maybe play with shift points to help manage heat also?

Any point jacking around with shift points to deal with bigger tires (285+) if not to get faster times?

In T/H my truck shifts at red line 3200 rpm.
