Need advice regarding running board selection for our 2004 GMC 3500 Crew Cab D/A. The build date is Sept. 1 and we hope to have it by Oct. 1.

Also, I would like to add rubber mud flaps to the rear dually wheels. Please give me your thoughts as to whose mud flaps and where to buy.

Thanks for putting up with a newbie to this news group.

Hey Larry!!

Welcome aboard. This is the wrong spot for this question, a moderator will likely move it. This is engine related.

That said I think there is still an article in the main section of the website about running boards.

That said I have Westin tube steps, just my preference. And I also have OEM mudflaps. Bought them online somewhere, can't remember where. But you can always get them from the dealer.

Hey fellow newbie!

I had crome nerf step bars installed by the dealer. Look nice and don't collect alot of dirt, mud, etc... Also had dealer installed mud flaps put on. Mine have a crome strip in them about 4 inches wide at bottom. Looks great and stiffens them up to keep them off the exhaust.

Good luck with your 04!
