(Oil is a touchy subject. Sit back and see what you've started.)

If it carries the CH-4 rating, you can use it.

As oils go, you will get lots of opinions. The best advice, find one that you like and stick with it.

The Amsoil guys will say they have the best. So will the Schaffer guys. And the Archer guys. And the Rotella guys. And the Delvac guys. And the Delo guys. And the Royal Purple guys. At nauseum.

My opinion, Delvac 1 is hard to beat (read just maginally better oil than what I use). I use Amsoil, but that's just me. If you don't want to stomach the added cost of the synthetics, Rotella is a fine oil. I know several people that have had no problems with the Rotella. It's a very good oil.

Oil analysis is a good side benefit, but I don't think I'd buy an oil just for that reason. JMHO.
