I've been changing my own oil for over 24 years but nothing compares to the DMAX. Finally got filter off with a MATCO HD Oil filter strap (after destroying two other wrenches I've had for years)but what a mess. Who welds those filters on anyway? Finally figured out to stick a piece of cardboard between oil pan and cross member to keep oil out of the channel but I was a little late with that. Next time definitely a Fumoto Valve. I guess the GM engineers don't change their own oil. :mad:
