We now have abt 2k mi on 5mic FM100 filter pump seperator & have been using Total Power additive since we bought the truck at 16k mi.
Water has just now started to form very slightly (abt 1/16th in) in bottom of the bowl.
Our John Deere 5410 with same filter(10mic) works almost every day w/o additive & yields abt a cup full or more every 50hrs.
Now this is telling abt emulsifiers, is it not?
Lets say we were using demulsifier,what then?
Could we be sure that water would not reach the pump?
Also what other effects are additives having on our very fine media 2mic filters?
