I am looking to trade my 04 d/a cc slt 4wd with 25k for an equally equipped 06 and would like to know what anyone else has been paying? Best i can do is trade plus 16k.Not much in rebates. I did better when i traded my 10 that had 45k and ext cab and less options for my 04. Can anyone compare the deal ?

loan rates are going up , I dont see GM doing anything to make the trucks cheaper.... I jumped today , LBZ crew every option except rear DVD/TV . I paided 43000 on a 48000 sticker. If you have a trade in be perpaired to take a beating , they just will not pay book value for them. Bottom line GM is hurting , they cant sell trucks / cars at the deals they have been . since 2001 I have watched the sales pitches like a hawk. I had a 2001 , 2004.5 lly and now a 2005 lbz Gm hasnt done much for the dealer so the only way the dealer make enough money is to screw you on a trade. If you do a deal without a trade you will make out good.

MARK45678, Did you order the truck or was it on the lot? I put in the deal if any other rebates are coming before the date it comes in they still apply. Should be something in Feb. Delivery should be the end of March. What did you get for your trade? Thanks

While I was test driveing a wht crew cab this truck was getting dropped off the car transporter. It was lot stock , I located it on gmbuypower.com . The main reason I went to this dealer was to look/ buy the truck that was on the transporter. When I got to the dealer they had the paper work on the silver truck I bought but the truck wasnt on the lot....I guess I got lucky! My 2004.5 lly crew cab chevy has 73K on the clock and its a cloth bucket seats gut. I only got 23,700 for my trade , a little less than what I wanted but It was time.... this past month I paid the dealer almost 500.00 in repair/rental fees so that was the last straw for me! GOT TO GO.... it was two year to the day since I got my 2004.5 LLY I had 986.00 bonus point on my GM card , I can thank my local Home center for all my building supplys to remodel the outside of my home....sure I buy it heres my charge card smile.gif

Sad part is my 2004 truck is clean on the out side , inside the bed is scratched to **** but not dented! I know they will sell it for around 26000 ~28000K but its not my problem any more. In the past 4 weeks its been in to have injector wireing harness parts replaced twice ! each time they would only do what was wrong even though I asked them to do ALL of them. the price of the parts was that much and it was only 2 1/2 hour labor to trouble shoot ! The first thing I looked at on the LBZ was that harness , its not the same as the LLY so maybe I can keep this one for more then 2 years! If we ever get any GD snow I will be heading up to your neck of the woods with the snowmobile..... Do the snow dance , good luck and enjoy your new ride!

Don't plan to snowmobile up here at this rate. We just came home from Yellowstone, great riding and lots of snow.I run a trip west every year. I'm tired of waiting for snow up here.It sounds like we are on the same schedule, traded my 01 for an 04 and now an 06. $1500 bonus on my GM card. My truck better get here by 3/31 for the bonus. Dealer said he could work it out. If you have any questions about snow conditions here you can e-mail me. Steve - dinsmoor17@aol

If your dealer already has orders in they can change the spec on the truck thats on order as long as the order doesnt have a build date yet. this was the way it was explained to me, so it the sell lots of truck good chance you will see it in 6~8 weeks. What exactly are you looking for maybe I can help you locate on localy in my area. mark768@verizon.net , they is a good stock of GMC 2500 hd crews in my area and most of the dealer will swap!

I find it interesting that some of you were able to use your gm card credits on your purchase of your trucks. I just purchased a dually and was told I could not use mine because I got the gms (family first) price. I'm calling GM to see if I was lied to.

The last thing i did after we agreed on the price was to tell the dealer $2k on the GM card and they said no problem.I even asked if it would be in before the end of March and they said if it was late they would make it work. I figure I paid $40k , $26 for my 04 trade $14k cash minus $2k GM card. $14,000 out of pocket.

I would like to know how you guys get them to knock 10 grand off of sticker.

Today I priced a 06 GMC 2500HD crew cab, long bed, 2wd, SLE1. MSRP was 39,706. Invoice showed 35,990. Only rebate below invoice was the $500.

How good or bad is that price? How much will they go below invoice on a truck that they have to order?

The sticker on the 06 sb,cc,d/a,slt with marker lts and trailer pkg was around $44.5. No onstar or xm. With my trade I figure i paid $39k

Well , I now have 500 miles on my new lbz crew cab. It first tank of fuel averaged 16.4 mpg. This was done on by 80% highway at speeds 70~80 MPH and some around town with idle time! Runs stronger then my lly with a reflash , the 6 speed is THE best trans in the class hands down. My dad just got a 2005 Ford F350 x cab power stroke auto.....(theres no way I would have bought one of these pigs , rides like chit) He is happy with the price he paid but wanted a GM truck... He's retired and didnt want to spend the extra $$$$. The truck he got has 12K on it and it only cost him 12K to trade up from a 2001 2500 hd 6.0l gas with 48,000 miles. Not one complaint about my truck other then paying for it! The DIC computer doesnt have the same functions as our 2004 trucks... For once the computer uses more fuel then the pump, very odd! I did my mileage the old way , paper and pen.... By the way my Dads 6.0L joke could catch my ride if it had to stock to stock ! the LBZ is like a lly with juice set on level 1 or 2.

I was sure there would be something in rebates this month with Feb being a big car sale month! I put in my order and will be glad to get it after the winter is over. How long have the trucks been taking to get built and delivered? I have always taken one off the lot.
