I did a search on the Firestone site and they are not saying anything. I could use 4 new ANYTHINGS! I had to have my spare broken down and put on the Right Rear due to a torn tread. It had not caused the tire to come apart, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving it on everyday.

A new set of tires complements of Firestone would sure be nice.

These 245's just don't cut the mustard after having 285 BF's on my previous truck.

Do you have any more details on the so called recall? Tire Size? Production year? I spent a little time searching the web and only found the old recall on the explorer tires.

Called Firestone Consumer Affairs and was told that the recall included a total number of 42 tires and they were all accounted for. All 42 were 235/75R16's and from a certain production lot.

FWIW, at ~36K, my AT's are going strong. They should easily make it to 50K before exposing the wear bars, rotated once at 25K.
