I was about to pull out of a construction site about 90 miles from home where sprinkler pipe material had just been delivered. Without any hesitation or rough idle, truck #1 suddenly died. It certainly seemed electrical in nature, just like the key had been shut off.

After determining that there was fuel (it has a bad gauge, but the odometer doesn't lie) in the tank, I immediately suspected the FSD. With no spare in the truck, I was already planning for the call to get hauled home, when I decided to check the fuse box, 'just in case'.

Sure enough, it was a bad connection on the fuse supplying power to the FSD. The fuse had melted in place, and finally opened the circuit.

New fuse, truck fired right up, and I was on my way home.

Hey hey hey. This sounds like something I need to check on mine. Which fuse is it? How did you find it? Thanks!!!
