I am picking up my new 06 LBZ tomorrow. I want to start good habits from the begining. Is the Low-Sulfur fuel out yet? if so what is the best fuel additive to go with? If the Low-Sulfur fuel is not out what is the recomended additive? I live in the Chicago area if that is a issue. Thanks is advance for your time, Larry

My vote is for Stanadyne Lubricity formula - seems to have more lubricity additive plus detergents. Worked well for my old 95.

Larry,

Congratulations on your new ride! Regarding fuel additives there are several good options. As Black95TD said Stanadyne Lubricity formula is a good choice

My suggestion remains the same: FPPF Total Power in all of my diesel fuel. A couple percent bio will also do a lot for lubricity I am told. I still will not run fuel without my Total Power though.
