I still have some tweaking to do for the 11's but the truck ran a new best at the TS Performance All Diesel Challenge.

A new dyno best was set as well.

The Duramax took the highest HP for the event. :D

A video of the action is here:

Hey BMDMAX! great numbers! are those w/ drugs? are you running factory pistons and rods? Just wondering as I've had a couple, Dude.... I can see all the way through my engine :( type failures w/ them!

The dyno numbers are on nitrous. The engine internals are untouched and completely stock except for the upgraded injectors from Kennedy Diesel.

60K of hard, hard miles too.... :D

Good show!
At BD dyno days I ran up against a hard core "DODGE" guy at the table where they had a duramax and a cummings completely torn apart and siting side by side. He cut the duramax apart for being so flimsey and lightweight. I pointed out to him (about 3 times) that the duramax was not as heavily build as the cummings because it was a med duty diesel and GM had always said it was good for 200,000 miles.
Glad your kicking some serious dodge a$$!

It WILL be quicker with real slicks and a few other tweaks.

The truck is too heavy to be competitive in the DHRA Prostreet and while it would be nice to build a decent 2wd effort, I won't get too excited till they allow REAL slicks...
