I installed a Edge EZ on my truck this past weekend. After a good warm-up, I tried a couple of WOT runs, trying all three settings. I can't tell for sure, but it seems like the transmission is short shifting (not at 3200 rpm) on the 2-3 shift. I tried it in tow/haul mode and it seemed about the same. Is it possible that what I'm feeling is the turbo kicking in? I tried it again today after about 30 miles of in town driving and it is still the same. Do I just have to wait a little while longer for the transmission to "learn" my driving habits. The transmission shifts just fine under normal and medium throttle settings, it just feels a little funny at WOT shifts.

May just take a while for both you and the Allison adaptive learn to adjust to the new reality... :D

What you are likely feeling is the Torque Converter locking up.

Yeah, I used to wonder what was going on when I nailed it to the floor and held it, its the torque converter locking up.
