wastegate pluged off ?

I see some people have thier waste gate plugged off how much dose this help and will it hurt anything I have the juice 4" proflow exhaust and the k/n offroad airbox

theres lots here already on this subject just search and read ........some say no and others say go........I say its worth more boost 3-7psi
about a 100-150 lower egt and its the best mod for the money because its almost free....... :D dave

Plugging the wastegate will increase boost which is harder on the turbo, but more boost equals less egt which is easier on everything. So you will have to figure out if the cooler egt is worth the extra boost drawback, And the extra boost does not make any extra hp at all on most computer controlled engines.
