New 03 arrived yesterday and I was thinking about taking the KN out of the 02 seeing it has only 3000 miles on it and putting it in the new 03. Question I have is that does the rubber gasket on the top of the air box come with the KN or was it part of the original GM air box. I never installed the KN filter in the 02 and not sure if it was there or came with the KN. If it was there fine, but it it came with the KN filter, can I take it out and reinstall, go without the gasket or just buy a new filter. Thanks
