Duramax Ambulances........

The recent arrival of two new ambulances was met enthusiastically by Laramie (Wyoming) Fire Department members last weekend.

The two new ambulances came with some upgrades, among them 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engines. The new rides both have four-wheel-drive to help out in poor conditions or with search and rescue campaigns that cover rough terrain.

The city of Boston has had the 4500 Diesels for awhile now. They were using older 3500HD, 15k GVW, 6.5's.

We just took delivery of a C4500 DMAX/ALLY CC set up as a bridge inspection bucket truck at work. This engine is really stuffed in, but still a nice truck.
