View Full Version : Bushing Front Shackle recall?

Anyone know about them replacing the 2001 front shackle busings? Was told the 2001 some had Voided bushings made by goodyear and it was causing ride quality problems and being replaced with a new solid bushing.

Anyone know of this as my dealer never will do anything unless I can prove it exists.

GM pickups don't have front shackles. I believe shackles are used to anchor leaf springs.

He's probably talking about A-Arm bushings, but I have replaced a few shackle bushings on the front back in the good old days. I believe that was when men were men and all the sheep were afraid!
I got a 2001 and mine's still good at 59000 miles.
