On my corvette it if you push an hold one button, and then push another one 4 times it will automatically read out any coded in the computers. Is there a similar operation for a 2004 truck with LLY? Which buttons do you push, for how long and in which sequence.

If there are any codes in the computer, where can I find a table of what the codes mean?

Thanks!

Stephen

Some of the auto parts stores, like Autozone and Napa, are offering free code reads for their customers. Once you have the code(s), you can visit a web site like: www.obdii.com (http://www.obdii.com) (thanks to mdrag) to learn more about it. You can also post what codes you might be getting here. We'll interpert them for you, and give you an idea of what might be the problem.

Also, most of the handheld programmers available for the Duramax (i.e. Predator, HyperTech, Superchips, etc.) have the ability to read OBDII codes.
