Advice needed. Which Fumoto valve is the right valve for the Duramax, one with nipple or without nipple. The Fumoto web site recommends the one with the nipple.

TBC ,

Either one will work.. Most have bought the nipple one.....I did....You can attach a 5/8 hose to it when draining......It works well The Fumoto valve ...Clean ,nothing gets caught on the skid plate ,and the no rush of fluid like when the drain plug being removed.....Good investment at a small price.....There was a hunting dog that opened one once but it's a long story.....otherwise I know of any one else who had a problem with it opening in error....

Thanks. I was thinking the nipple was on the threaded end. What you said makes sense. I will go order one now.

SoMnDMAX,

Is it that small? I thought I used a old piece of 5/8 heater hose..... HHmmmmm I don't use one at all now,I just let the nipple do the job, after my last bucket incident..... Well then I stand corrected ...... Sorry.......

Aaahhh, I guess I forgive you, too. Those nipples are sometimes difficult to measure... :D
