Is anybody running the Kennedy stainless exhaust yet? I see it listed on his website but I havn't heard if it is shipping yet.

When you have a chance, let us know how it looks, installs and sounds.

Truth be told, I'd like to know too! That system is not my design, but is produced distributed by a man I trust and respect. I have one here, but have yet to install one...

I'll let everyone know when I get it installed. I've been in the seven-day-a-week mode at work so I don't when that will be.

I would have replied soon but a server crash ate my file. Looks like I'm a newbie again :( :(

Oh well, poop happens. Just good to be back smile.gif

Finally got it on last weekend. Getting the old exhaust off is the hard part, the new system was an easy install, fits like a glove.

I got my guages on about a month before and had a chance to benchmark egt's, no towing unfortunately, but under WOT in hot juice level going up the Garden City Skyway I could break 1,300 with the stock system, 1,200 with the 4" system. Subjectively, starting at the bottom of the skyway at 100kph, WOT I can hit the speed limiter before the top now, couldn't before, so there seems to be some performance gain.

Don't know how it stacks up against other systems, but it is a lot louder than I was expecting and could be an issue over time, as I drive about 100 miles a day on the highway. I've been following the quiet 4" exhaust thread, not sure if I've seen solutions there.......

Re-reading this, I should probably add the noise comment is not a complaint

One thing I should point out too, is that this is a REAL stainless system done in 304SS. We also have a 409SS system to fit the more price conservative market...

What is the difference?

I went for 304 based on the recommendation of a trusted mechancial engineer who is a friend of mine.

One other question for John - have you had a chance to hear one of these installed now, and how does the volume and tone compare to your system?

409 will rust, 304 will not.

Haven't heard one in person yet...

I thought you have been selling exhaust for awhile??? Or is it just a more "bling" version of the other systems? I thought you were selling a full polished system before though?

Just curious what is new?

I've been toying with the idea of getting me a 4"-5" reducer and some pipe and straight piping my truck. Any idea what your supplier would charge for such an animal? All SS and with pups welded on both ends for a direct swap. Wonder how the neighbors would like me then? :D

I've heard plenty of MY aluminized systems, but not a lot of the 304SS systems as they are not my pattern...
