when does the 05 get 605lb.ft. torque?

Out looking at some D/A and was comparing a 2004 (built 06-04) and a 2005 (built 09-04) the hoods and grills were different, but both engines looked the same. I thought GM was replacing the belt driven fan with an electric fan. Also wheels were to go to 17" w/265 tires. Both of these had 16" w/245 tires.
We would like to get the extra horses, and the extra 80+lb.ft of torque. I'll wait till spring if need be to get this. Thanks! smile.gif

The cooling and wheel statements quoted were GM's famous generic blanket statements. The HD series remains mostly unchanged except for a bump from 590TQ to 605TQ as I understand.

I just ordered mine, so we'll hope that the incentives start coming for the 2005 models soon...
