search feature isn't working correctly, help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey There,

I am searching for some info from a while back, and it is telling me, that the topic no longer exists, AFTER I click on it. It is pulling up the topic, but then when I open it, it is saying the topic no longer exists. What's happening? This is doing this for many topics on all the three forums, [duramax 6600, 2500HD drive traine, and 2500HD accessories] Please help!

I just performed a search for the word "dilution" in the Duramax 6600 forum. It recalled seven forum threads dating back from now to about mid March. All seven were linkable, and resulted in correctly displayed forum threads.

If there is some problem with an incorrect search, for other keywords, I may need to rebuild the search index. Let me know if that is the case (include your keywords and/or forum thread URL), and I'll rebuild the search index. The forum will need to be turned off while the rebuild is in process.

I also did a search today on the maf sensor,numerous posts on the subject came up but got same results as James did.

The search indexes for the "Duramax 6600", "2500HD/3500 Drivetrain" and "2500HD/3500 Accessories" have been rebuilt.
