Hey eveyone,

I picked up my Autometer Sport Comp EGT & Boost gauges ( for Mackin GUAGES ;) tongue.gif ). Anyway I read back thru all the posts and the "Hoot" position in the PS manifold.

My question is this: Should I buy 2 additional sending units, drill and tap both exhaust manifolds, then also tap the down pipe as close to the turbo as possible. Then I clould run them thru a relay so I could switch between both sides to compare and also have the combined post turbo reading as well.

Am I CRAZY  or is it not even worth trying????

Anyone got any comments, I would like some opions if possible.

Thanks to all in advance :D

I'm not sure you will get that to work. The wiring for an EGT is very critical. There are some that have optional switches available but I think you have to use THEIR setup not to screw up the readings.

more gauges are better for your own knowledge but not your wallet. Go for it.

He's not talking about more gauges. He's talking about more senders with switching. Might not work.

Take a look at what this company sells. www.westach.com I used one of their dual combo EGT-Boost gauges in my Dodge and was very happy with it. Here's the link to the catalog page with switches:
