These look exactly like the popular brand discussed on this site.

Check out these Web Pages and see what I mean:

Yes, I`ve got a set of them. They`er made by Bestop, cost $246, and look exactly like the Lucerix, (sp).

OK Gents, I looked at the websites but these are the Lucerix/CIPA whomever. Where are the 246.00 Bestops?

Thanks,

Abe

But, do they have a lifetime warranty? I believe that the Lucerix do.

It is up to each distributor, on what kind of warranty they want to promote. There is only one manufacturer that makes these mirrors. They make them for CIPA and Lucerix, based on my source and maybe for others . I got three years with mine and a phone call away for anything above that per the manufacturer.

This particular manufacturer makes a lot of the OE mirrors. These mirrors will be on the 05 Chevy. They tried to get them on the 03, however GM could not get out of their current contract on mirrors. This same manufacturer makes the GM manuael extendable towing mirrors.

A lot of info by making two phone calls. Saved me some money and educated me also.

Just ordered a set of power/heated CIPA mirrors from Vision View Mirror Products ( http\\www.rpminnovations.com ).

They carry a "lifetime" warranty for the original purchaser -- "as long as you own your truck".

They also come with a free stick on wedge mirror.

The total price delivered was below $375.

As a note the last set of Lucerix mirrors I bought for my V10 Ram 2500 cost about $418.

All prices are in $US.

I've seen the Bestop ( 1 year warr ), CIPA ( see above ) and owned the Lucerix ( lifetime warr ) mirrors -- they seem to be identical from what I can tell.

Got my Bestop mirrors from Summit Racing and yes there is a warranty but would have to wait till I get home later this month to find out what it is. They have a 800 # you should be able to find. Good Luck!

Jomar,

Just looked at Summit's website. Their price must have gone up to $299. How long ago did you get yours?

Joe Pool:

That company will meet the 299 price. Just give them the other web site so that they can verify the price.

BigO,

Look again $299 gets you power nonheated mirrors. The ones I ordered are power and heated. The Bestop mirrors only carry a 1 year warranty so they aren't really an apples to apples comparisson. I'm satisfied with the price I was quoted.

Also: Summit doesn't have the power/heated mirrors in stock and don't know when they will, if ever, have them in stock. Vision View had them in stock and I will have them in 3 - 5 days.

Just cut and paste the url below, I just tried it and it worked fine.

Make sure you price shop the other sites and then call their toll free number and give them the best price for mirrors & shipping and they will beat it.

Sorry, missed the heated part. As long as you are happy that is the key!

BigO,

No problem. Just didn't want someone thinking they were going to get power/heated mirrors for $300.

Txmax & 3-Fan

I got my mirrors back in late March and they, if I remember correctly, asked me if I wanted heated or not and gave me a price on the heated. Before I ordered the ones I got for $246 (not heated) I checked at a couple of places in San Antonio, and the price was $299.

Joe Pool, thanks for the follow-up. I finally figured out how to get the right address in the right place. I did contact rpm but they said they would only give me the price you were quoted if I found a web page with an equivilant price to theirs, and they would beat the price by one dollar. I guess I'm stuck with $399 unless I find another web page. I really like the lifetime warranty, so I think I'll just bite the bullet.

Redhawk,

Go to Stylin' Concepts [ www.stylinconcepts.com ] and get their price with shipping. It should total around $386 (349.95 + 22.95shipping + 10.00extra shipping charge + 3.00 insurance).

Hope this helps.

John Kennedy sells the power heated Lucerix mirrors for less than that. They are lifetime warr. Give him a call.
