View Full Version : Pirelli Tires
Started to look into new tires and considered the Dunlops RV's like so many here have but couldn't find 265's in a E load. Did I miss somthing there, or is everyone running on lighter load ratings?
Anyway Perilli just came out with a 265 for the Scorpion's A/T in a E load. Ordered mine last night. I've seen nothing but good reviews on the Scorpions. $130 a tire installed at Discount Tire.
I have about 3000 miles on my scorpions and like them very much.
Frank, what size did you put on?

^...Michelins (IMHO)...'Nuff said.
Terry,
I put the same size as the factory set. I did not want 0-60 times to slow down. They look bigger than the factory set probably because of the more aggresive tread, but they don't sound any louder and ride just as smooth (or better).I also got mine for about $130 each.I think they also had a mail-in $45 rebate (that havent recieved yet).If I did a lot of highway miles I probably would have gotten bigger tires.
NutNbutGMC,
Is Michelin paying you royalties or are you just having a LTR with these tires? :D :D
I distinctly remember the same phrase a few weeks ago! ;)

^.... I just call it like I see it... :D .. You have a great memory though. As for my LTR, is it that obvious??? Love my Michelins. Kinda' like another infamous celebrity around here, with a LTR and a JOOCE BOX, huh?? :D
NutNbutGMC,
Yup !!!!!!!!! :D
Michelins too !!!!!!!! Best tires I've ever owned.........
MAC :D
I considered the Michelin LTX A/T's but I wanted to go to a 265 tire. If I went with a 265 Michelin I'd loose the E load rating. Best available I saw was a C load. If your looking for a E load 265 you narrow it down to about three manufactures.

The Michelin LTX A/S and LTX M/S are available as 265/75R16 Load Range E.
The M/S is what I'm planning to put on my truck when the B'stones go.
Colorado, You are right but it was the A/T's I was referring to that only come in 245 E's. I need more traction for my occasional off road use.
